  • Biography

    Javad Razjouyan received the B. S. degree in biomedical engineering, bioelectric major (BME-bioelectric) from Amirkabir University of Technology, Iran, in 2004, the M. S. degree in BME-bioelectric in 2007, and the Ph. D. degree in BME-bioelectric from the Amirkabir University of Technology in 2013. He was faculty member of Islamic Azad University and technical consultant of Biotest plasma donation Center in Tehran, Iran from 2012 to 2014. He passed to post-doctoral research at the university of Arizona, college of Medicine and at Baylor College of Medicine, Currently he is research fellow at the BD-STEP program. His research interests are big data, wearable sensor, sleep assessment, Frailty assessment, physical activity monitoring and physiological stress. He has several publications in high impact journals such as PLOS and JAMA (IF = 35.289 at 2014). He also served as reviewer for biomedical engineering undergraduate courses committee at 2012. He is the member of Young Researchers and Elites Club of Iran since 2009 and other professional society such as Gerontological Society of America, IEEE and American College of Rheumatology.
